Gabriel Raya Rodríguez

Gabriel Raya studied Data Science at Radboud University Nijmegen. He received the Bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey in May 2013. Following his graduation, he spent 3 years working as designer implementing embedded control systems. In 2016, he joined the Electronics Design Center at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Guadalajara where he worked on machine learning related projects for the industry. At the Computational Pathology group, he performed a research internship from 1 November 2019 until 15 February 2020 focusing on implementing unsupervised deep learning methods to classify lung cancer subtypes in histopathology images under the supervision of Witali Aswolinskiy and Francesco Ciompi and afterwards worked on out-of-distribution detection for his Master's thesis under the supervision of Jasper Linmans.
