Lars Maas

Lars completed the education biological-medical laboratory technician (MLO) at De Leijgraaf. He is currently studying to become a bioinformatician at the HAN University of Applied Sciences, where he has also completed a minor in data science. After this, he completed an internship at Oncolines B.V. where he correlated drug sensitivity of cancer cell lines with protein expression. He is performed his graduation internship in the Computational Pathology Group where he was supervised by Geert Litjens. During this internship, he used deep learning to differentiate cell types and pathologies of H&E stained bone marrow biopsies.
