Natalia Pérez is a PhD candidate in the CVBLab research group. In 2022, she obtained her MSc (Honourable Mention) in Computer Vision from Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid, after finishing her BSc in Telecommunication Technologies and Services Engineering from the Polytechnic of Valencia. In December 2022, she started her PhD working under the supervision of Valery Naranjo on developing explainable AI and Anomaly Detection methods for the diagnosis of skin tumors as part of the ASSIST project. She is spending four months at the Computational Pathology Group and Diagnostic Image Analysis Group where she works under the supervision of Geert Litjens implementing different anomaly detection methods on a dataset with dangerous skin diseases.
